The perception of teaching as a profession: The attitudes of teachers and the public

The diploma thesis deals with the perception of the teaching profession through the eyes of selected teachers of the 2nd level of primary school and at the same time brings information about the view of the teaching profession by the addressed representatives of the public. In the theoretical part, on the basis of professional literature, information is processed concerning the teaching profession and the current situation in education in terms of the prestige of the teaching profession, feminization of teaching staff, teacher remuneration, profession and working hours of teachers. The practical part is based on a research survey in the form of semi-structured interviews, which were attended by selected teachers of the 2nd level of primary school and representatives of the non-teaching public. The aim of the practical part was to find out how the addressed profession is viewed by the addressed teachers and several people from other professional fields. Teachers evaluate their profession as a demanding, important, but little valued profession in the eyes of the public. The addressed public respects most teachers and thinks that their social prestige should be higher.
Drug prevention a experiences among students of 9th class of primary school and secondary school in Strakonice

The topic of this bachelor thesis is the issue of prevention and experience with drugs in 8TH and 9TH grade of primary school students and high school students in the Strakonice region. The theoretical part of the work analyzes the drug issues and common methods of drug prevention. It also mentions the basic division of drug types, the historical development in human society and the consequences of their usage. There are also drug prevention methods mentioned in this work. Experience with drugs and with prevention are detected by research, which is processed in the practical part. The questionnaire method research was used in this thesis. The questionnaire focuses on the basic statistical data, specific experience with the drugs themselves, experience with prevention and also respondent´s personal views on drugs. Regarding to the current unfavorable COVID 19 pandemic situation, the research was conducted only by correspondence. With the kind permission of teachers the questionnaire was sent to a selected sample of primary and high school pupils in Strakonice region. The practical part of the bachelor thesis includes evaluation and analysis of these questionnaires.
Resilience and stress situations in emerging adulthood

The bachelor thesis is dealing with stressful situations and coping with them in the context of emerging adulthood in the Czech Republic. The aim is to find out how young people perceive the period in which they are. It is also essential what stressful situations they encounter during this period and what helps them cope with these situations. In the beginning of theoretical part the adulthood is defined. Another part is then focused on a new period of emerging adulthood, on its basic characteristics and the conditions that allowformation to this new stage of human life. After that a large portion is devoted to the issueof stress, stressful situations and coping with them, all in the context of emerging adulthood. The practical part explains methodology of research, which is based on a qualitative analysis of semi-structured interviews with ten university students. Processing the interviews was done using the grounded theory method. The analyzed data are presented and interpreted in the practical part.
Possibilities of minimizing stress in distance education at lower secondary school with regard to pupils with special educational needs

The diploma thesis addresses the Possibilities of stress minimazition for pupils at the lower secondary school with regard to pupils with special educational needs during distance education. It designs the tools and strategies that a regular city school can provide students with coping with stress and stressful situations in the ongoing distance education. The theoretical part defines the main concept associated with stress, stressors and strategies used in coping with stress and the concept of distance education. The practical part finds out what possibilities a regular city school has in reducing stress for pupils in the lower secondary school, including pupils with special educational needs in distance education based on the finding of the main stressors and strategies the pupils use to cope with stress and support. The method of the research survey is conducted in the form of structural interview. Based on the obtained research data it was found out which, in the opinion of pupils, are the main stressors in distance education and what strategies pupils use for processing workload and stress, including pupils with special educational needs. The topic of my diploma thesis is - a social worker, life experience. In the text of the thesis I focused mainly on a social worker, on the social worker who does this work for the Child Social and Legal Protection Authority. In my diploma thesis, I elaborated five chapters on the basis of academic literature. The sixth chapter of my work deals with methodological research. In the first chapter I dealt with the history of social work. This chapter is included in my work due to the experience acquired from my practice. What social work looks like today is thanks to the history and the lessons taken from it. It is the basis for the further development of new experience for new social workers. In the second chapter, I focused on the aspects that are needed in order to become a social worker. What should be the prerequisites to be able to do this work, and what ethical rules should the worker follow. In the third chapter, I focus on a particular OSPOD worker, and on his most common job content. There I describe the job, which is the most demanding for the worker. Drug-dependent mothers in the Therapeutic community Karlov and the importance of guilt in child upbringing

Background: Women with substance abuse problems have distinctive features and face many difficulties arising from their gender specificities. Among them, motherhood is significantly represented, which, combined with the abuse of addictive substances, fundamentally changes its profile, from experience, to the way these women relate to their children. These ways are burdened with many experiences, processes and emotions, which subsequently block the establishment of appropriate education. Aim: The aim of the thesis was to find out whether women with addiction problems feel guilty and shy in relation to their children, or map out where these feelings come from and what forms them. Another key objective was to reveal whether these feelings could create barriers in relation to the child, and especially in education. The last goal of the thesis was to evaluate whether, in addition to these determinants, other variables occur, or which ones are entering into the process of remediation. This diploma thesis addresses the issue of mutual attitudes among teachers and pupils at the upper-primary-schools. The thesis is based on the assumption that the teacher-student rapport is the significant determinant of the educational process. The aim of the thesis is to determine the factors and the ways of affecting mutual attitudes among pupils and teachers at upper- primary-schools. The theory section of the thesis focuses on the issues of attitudes and of the personality of a pupil and teacher at the upper-primary-school and on the interaction between them. The thesis describes the factors affecting mutual attitudes among pupils and teachers as well as the characterics of adolescent. It also describes the teacher's personality and his role in the educational process. The objective of the research section is to identify the characteristic features of mutual attitudes among teachers and pupils at the upper-primary-schools. The most frequent situations stimulating defense mechanisms self-concept of pupil and their solution

This thesis deals with the development of defense mechanisms, as shaped by its psychoanalytic origins to contemporary psychology. Next, deals with stressful situations that are seen as the most common possible causes underlying defense mechanisms currently. The work is framed within the school context. It focuses on primary school pupils and frequent stressful situations related to the school environment. In its conclusion, the work focuses on the overall approach to children when they are already in a stressful situation, highlights the ways in these times, children pointing in the right direction and how to approach them if they already apply some defense. Work sums up the issue of defense mechanisms, trying to modernize this concept based on the history and highlights its possible rife among pupils in practice.
